Rhode Island College (RIC) is the state's first and oldest institution of public higher education, 成立于1854年. It is overseen by the President of Rhode Island College, who reports to the Office of the Postsecondary Commissioner (RIOPC).

RIOPC is the administrative arm of the Rhode Island Council on Postsecondary Education, which provides oversight and governance for RIC and the Community College of Rhode Island.

RIC's Organizational Structure

The president presides over an executive cabinet comprised of the vice presidents of various offices and divisions throughout the college, as well as other high-ranking members of the college's leadership. The following offices/divisions are overseen by vice presidents: Division of 政府 and 金融, Division of Academic Affairs, Division of Advancement and College Relations and Division of 学生的成功. The Office of the President is overseen by a chief of staff.
